Unifrog is a complete destinations platform that students at Sackville are using.  Unifrog brings together information on a huge variety of professions, information on the qualification required, routes in, lines of progression, expected salaries and labour market information.  Each student has their own account where they can build an overview of careers that interest them, explore apprenticeships, college and university courses.  In addition to this students have access to a vast selection of MOOCs (open online courses) advice on building employability skills and competencies.

Year 7 & 8 use the interests quiz and personality quiz to start identifying their strengths.  They then learn to explore using the careers and subject libraries.

In Year 9 students will be looking at their GCSE options so Unifrog can help students make choices regarding subjects and where they can lead.

Year 10 and 11 students can look at the routes available into different careers and the best pathway for them.  Unifrog will assist in collecting information on what is available locally whether that be via an apprenticeship, A Levels, Btecs, college or staying on at school.

Sixth form uses Unifrog to research their next steps.  They can look at universities and the course they offer, create a shortlist and get notified of the relevant open days.  There are MOOCs available to study and it will assist in UCAS applications, Writing personal statements and CV’s as well as being a central place to record all their achievements, competencies, employability skills and employment history.
