Apps/IT
We use a range of online applications to supplement our delivery in the classroom. For communications, information and independent learning we use the Bromcom apps of Student Portal and My Child At School. For details on the other apps we use, please scroll down and select the appropriate page.
Students
Students at Sackville will receive all homework through the Student Portal.
On the student portal you can see:
- Your timetable
- Your homework
- Your attendance
- Your behaviour and achievement points.
In addition to the student portal, we would advise you to download the Google Mail app on your device and sign into your school email account. This will allow easy communication with your teacher and a method to see notifications from Google Classroom etc.

Parents
Your son/daughter will receive all homework through the Student Portal. Whilst the portal may direct them to other amazing services such as Educake, Seneca, Carousel, Maths Watch etc there will be no expectation for students to see that they have homework on any other platform than the Student Portal.
You have a different app, you have MCAS (My Child at School) and it is your hub of data about your child at Sackville.
On the MCAS App you can see:
- Their timetable
- Their homework
- Their attendance
- Their behaviour and achievement points.
- Pay for trips and add dinner money
- See correspondence from school
